Get ready for a weekend visiting some of the terrific transportation collections of Ohio! We’ll meet up bright and early at the Bob Evans at 23100 Allen Rd in Woodhaven, Michigan for breakfast (come early as Saturdays can be busy) and then we’ll head out at 9 AM sharp to Snook’s Dream Cars in Bowling Green where the Buckeye Region will join us. Snook’s has a wonderful collection of cars and memorabilia set inside a classic Texaco gas station. The addresses, text and QR code, of the weekend venues will be distributed there.

Afterward, we’ll drive down to New Bremen and grab a quick lunch before a visit to the Bicycle Museum of America. We can see over 150 bicycles and learn more about the history of the bicycle and how it helped shape the American landscape through innovation and design. Next up is the Armstrong Air and Space Museum in Wapakoneta, the hometown of aviator and astronaut Neil Armstrong and the first man to set foot on the Moon. The museum stands as a repository of Ohio’s aeronautical history and a monument to Ohio’s contribution to aviation and space exploration.

From there, we’ll hit back roads to our hotel where we have a room block at the Best Western Plus South Dayton, 8099 Old Yankee St, Dayton, OH, 45458, (937) 291-0284. The next morning after breakfast we’ll drive to the National Museum of the United States Air Force. It’s the official museum of the United States Air Force located at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base just a short drive from the hotel. The NMUSAF is the oldest and largest military aviation museum in the world, with more than 360 aircraft and missiles on display.

We’ll have lunch at the Old Spaghetti Factory in Dayton before heading down to America’s Packard Museum, just a short walk from the restaurant. It’s located in the Citizen's Motor Car Company of Dayton, the original Dayton Packard dealership dating back to 1917. The dealership has been restored with 1920s aesthetic and historical artifacts. America's Packard Museum has around 50 Packards on display from the early 1900s to the late fifties and beyond.
