WHO: Club Members, plus a friend. WHAT: This year, the famous Ocean City Cruise weekend is May 1-4. Club members and friends will cruise on Saturday May 3rd to Ocean City and have lunch and watch the cars cruise by at "On the Bay Seafood" restaurant, 4204 Coastal Highway, Ocean City. On the Bay has a wonderful and delicious selection of fresh seafood with outside roadside seating perfect to watch the parade of vehicles that will go by. This is a fun event to bring out your classic cars for the local beach boys and any of the club members from the other side of the bay that happen to be in town. It‘s a great event for cars and people watching! WHEN: Saturday May 3rd, 2025, 10:00 am. WHERE: 10:00 am: We meet first at (the former) Bed, Bath and Beyond parking lot (behind Wawa) located at 30134 Veterans Way, Rehoboth Beach, DE. We then caravan to Ocean City, MD (25.3 mi) for lunch at "On the Bay Seafood" restaurant, 4204 Coastal Highway, Ocean City, Maryland. Lunch is each-pays-own. RSVP: Before May 1st. The owner/operator of Pottery Place - David McLelland is also a member of the Straight Eights. Lets have a good turnout for David! WHEN: Saturday, May 31st, 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. WHERE: The Pottery Place at 1500 Coastal Hwy, Fenwick Island, DE 19944 PARKING: Fill up the parking spaces facing along Route-1 first. REFRESHMENTS: Coffee and Donuts provided by the host/owner David. ABOUT THE POTTERY PLACE: For 53 years, The Pottery Place is a must-stop-shop in time for Spring!. Discover coastal inspired planters, birdbaths, cement statues, chimineas, lamps, tables, pillows, mirrors, frames, clocks, cookbooks, grilling accessories, novelties and greeting cards while mingling over cars & coffee. Vehicles of ALL makes, models and years are welcome.

WHO: LCCI Club members plus one guest. WHAT: Ferry Boat ride to Historic Pea Patch Island, Fort Delaware, DE. Ferry ride to Pea Patch Island at a group discounted rate of $12.00 per person. FERRY RSVP & PAYMENT: After you hit "Register Now" here on our LCCI site, Ferry ride reservations and payment must be made directly (BY YOU) to Delaware State Parks by August 30, 2023 by calling Michele Restucci at 302.601.6381 M-F 8AM - 3PM. WHEN: Wednesday June 11th, 2025 > 9:00 a.m. We will depart from St. Jude Catholic Church parking lot (152 Tulip Dr. Lewes, DE 19958) promptly at 9:00 a.m. and caravan via Coastal Highway (SR1) to Delaware City. > 11:00 a.m. Ferry departs to historic Pea Patch Island (est 1 mile ferry ride) > 1:30 p.m. Ferry returns to mainland. Lunch follows after 1:30 Ferry at a local restaurant TBA by Greg. WHERE: The Ferry departs for Pea Patch Island from 45 Clinton St, Delaware City, Delaware 19706. Parking is on the street, or in the parking lot at the rear of Crabby Dicks Restaurant 30 Clinton St, Delaware City, Delaware 19706. There is also an overflow public city parking lot about one block away. We have 20 seats reserved on the Ferry each way, although more seats may be available, depending on demand. There is limited food & beverage on the Island, so please bring along any refreshments that YOU may want. Ride into D.C.’s past on a piece of history and experience for yourself the transit systems that built and served communities across the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia for a century (1862-1962). Enjoy exhibits and presentations at our Visitor Center, then come aboard our living collection of historic street cars for a ride down one mile of woodland track in beautiful Northwest Branch Park. Get up close and experience for yourself the largest collection of Washington DC street cars and transit vehicles in existence. This enclosed building houses the majority of our collection of historic transit vehicles - some over 100 years old. Occasionally, we open some of these vehicles for the public to board and explore. If our boat tram is running, rides on this trolley depart from Street Car Hall. $12 General Admission $10 Seniors + Children ages 2-17 Saturday-only Museum Hours are 12:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.

WHAT: Picnic, Car Show, Music, Swimming, Food, Drinks, and MEN!
Andrew and Rob are once again graciously hosting our annual picnic, car show and pool party! (outdoors) at Andrew‘s beautiful home on five private manicured acres. Park your car on the show-lawn, and pitch your chair under one of the many shade trees.

- A hearty picnic buffet lunch provided. NEW caterer this year!

- Our hosts possess a few chairs and tables. Bring your own folding or lawn chair to keep us from renting any.
- BYOB: Feel free to bring a cooler and your own special adult beverage if desired.
- Optional: Bring a swimsuit, towel, hat, and sunscreen for a dip in the "cement pond"

Members Mary Ann and Keith Fiske are organizing a cars and coffee event to be held in and around the cul de sac of their home in the Brightwood neighborhood within the greater Millersville and Severna Park, MD communities. Along with the Straight Eights, there are several local residents who will be showing their collector cars during this mid-late morning gathering, in support of building camaraderie among neighbors, and promoting visibility of our club to a broader DMV-area audience.

Due to the wide geographical footprint of our club membership, we schedule TWO member Holiday parties!.
One party is East of the Bay Bridge for our extended Delmarva based members/friends. The second party is West of the Bay Bridge for our members/friends based in the DMV Metro areas.
