WHAT: A social joint-event with Delaware Valley region to Dover Air Force Base Mobility Command Museum for a guided tour by retired U.S. Air Force and commercial FedEx pilot, aviation specialist - Rob Neighbour. Rob will give us the inside scoop on many of the aircraft there from his trained veteran and professional pilots perspective. The Museum is free. Followed by lunch at Meding‘s Seafood Restaurant 3697 Bay Rd. (SR 1) Milford, DE. Lunch is each-pays-own. WHERE: (Caravan Option) The caravan from Lewes to Dover will leave at 9:00 a.m. sharp from St. Jude The Apostles Church, 152 Tulip Dr. (SR1) Lewes, DE. Please wait in parking lot next to SR 1. Driving your Classic/Antique vehicles are appropriate weather permitting. NOTE: If you live closer to the museum than the caravan starting point of Lewes, DE, simply skip the caravan and report directly to the museum parking lot around 10:00 a.m. at 1301 Heritage Road Dover AFB, DE 19902 and wait for the caravan of others to arrive. WHAT: Please join the Tri-Valley LCCI chapter for a special drive dedicated to the-late John Cinelli. John loved his Tri-Valley friend‘s and Lambda Car Club meant a lot to him. John‘s family had asked Tri Valley to organize a drive in John‘s memory. Let us have a good turnout for John from the many Straight Eight members who also knew him!. WHEN: Sat April 11th, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. (Johns family chose the date) WHERE: - Everyone will first gather at John‘s house, 1062 Mill Gap Rd, Lost River, WV 26810. - We will drive about an hour to Blackwater Falls State Park, and have lunch in the Smokehouse restaurant, at 1584 Blackwater Lodge Rd, Davis, WV 26260. - After lunch, we‘ll drive back to Lost River, WV ending up at the Lost River Grille, on Highway 259 (another of John‘s favorites). They are hoping to drive John‘s 1970 Javelin for the occasion. His brother has ensured the registration/insurance/inspection are current. John‘s family would like to join us on the drive, so please speak up if you have an open seat for one of his family members. His family will be in the area, as they‘re interring John‘s remains (with Earle) at the Congressional Cemetery in Washington, DC. Members and friends from all points North, East, South and West, coordinate a few caravans and take a leisurely drive to Maryland‘s Eastern Shore arriving in the historic, charming and small waterfront town of St. Michaels, MD for a dose of quality domestic & imported cars.

WHO: Club Members, plus a friend. WHAT: Club members and friends will cruise on Friday May 1st to Ocean City, MD and have lunch while watching endless classic cars and their Men cruisin!. This is a fun public annual event to bring out your special car (Or ride in a friend‘s special car) for the local beach boys, and for any of the club members from the other side of the bay bridge that happen to be in town. It‘s a great event for cars and people watching! Description: Get ready for one of the largest automotive events on the East Coast, the 36th Annual Cruisin Ocean City, April 30 - May 3rd, 2026. This nationally recognized event attracts more than 3,000 customs, hot rods, street machines, classics and more from all over the country! The epicenter of the event is the beachside Inlet Parking Lot with activities and car shows at businesses all around town. WHEN: Friday May 1st, 2026, at 10:00 am. WHERE: - We meet first at Planet Fitness parking lot (behind Wawa) located at 30134 Veterans Way, Rehoboth Beach, DE. - We then caravan from Rehoboth Beach to Ocean City, MD (25.3 mi) for a front row view from the restaurant to watch stunning cars (and men!) cruise by. - Lunch is each-pays-own and is located at Ripieno‘s Italian Bistro restaurant at 3205 Coastal Hwy, Ocean City, MD. This is a fun event to bring out your classic cars for the local beach boys, and for any of the club members from the other side of the bay bridge that happen to be in town. WHAT: The Straight Eights Annual General Election Meeting & Social: After the business meeting, we‘ll have a Show & Tell social. Bring along your vintage car brochures, model cars, photo albums of past club events. WHEN: Saturday, November 14th, WHERE: Horizon House Condominiums. Private Event Room, 2nd Floor 1300 Army Navy Drive, Arlington, VA  22202 Take the elevator from the lobby up to level 1, exit right when leaving the elevator, The private event room is on your right down the hallway. RSVP: Before Thursday, November 13th (for those attending in-person for an accurate food count). MENU: Soup, Deli salads, pre-made sandwiches, bite size desserts, assorted cold drinks. PARKING:  Free street parking on Nash Street (behind Horizon House) or along Army Navy Drive. They also offer guest parking spaces (first come, first serve) but they require you stopping at the desk for a form that will sit on your dashboard. Ensure you park in a GUEST marked spot, and not a RESIDENT marked spot.
