WHO: Club members plus one WHAT: The 30-minute brewhouse tour costs $8.00 and includes a beer sample. The tour begins at 1:00 and is limited to 25 people. Payment can be made at the door. The brewery staff ask that we arrive and make payment at least 30 minutes before the tour starts. There‘s plenty of onsite parking, so drive vintage for an impromptu car show in their parking lot! WHO: Club Members, plus a friend. WHAT: The famous annual Fall Ocean City Cruise weekend is Oct 9-11. Club members and friends will cruise on Friday Oct 9th to Ocean City, MD to have lunch and watch endless car. Lunch is each-pays-own. This is a fun event to bring out your classic cars for the local beach boys, and for any of the club members from the either side of the Bay Bridge that happen to be in town. It‘s a great event for both cars and people watching! DESCRIPTION: Get ready for one of the largest automotive events on the East Coast, the 36th Annual Cruisin Ocean City. This nationally recognized event attracts more than 3,000 customs, hot rods, street machines, classics and more from all over the country! The epicenter of the event is the beachside Inlet Parking Lot with activities and car shows at businesses all around town. WHEN: Friday Oct 9th, 2026, at 10:00 am. WHERE: 10:00AM - We all meet at El Aztecs Mexican Restaurant parking lot 20672 Coastal Highway (SR1) Rehoboth Beach, DE. - We then caravan lead by Ken Smith from Rehoboth Beach to Ocean City, MD (25.3 mi) for a front row view from the restaurant to watch stunning cars (and men!) cruise by. - Lunch is each-pays-own and is located at Ripieno‘s Italian Bistro restaurant at 3205 Coastal Hwy, Ocean City, MD. This is a public event Hosted by CAMP Rehoboth, all are welcome to attend, no fees or RSVP required. The LCCI Straight Eights car club will have a Booth and a classic car on display in front of Aqua Bar & Grill at the Festival on Baltimore Ave!. Come down to enjoy the party and stop by to support our car club Booth!. CAMP Rehoboth is set to host its annual Block Party celebration on Sunday, October 18, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the second block of Baltimore Avenue in downtown Rehoboth Beach, DE. Entrance is free to the event, though donations are encouraged to CAMP Rehoboth. CAMP Rehoboth invites all community members to join in the festivities, and to expect magnificent performances, and dozens of vendors including artists, craftspeople, non-profits, businesses, and more. The event started in 2015 in celebration of CAMP Rehoboth’s 25th anniversary. This year, attendees can expect to shop sea glass art, ceramics, photography, body care, and learn more about local non-profit causes and businesses. Throughout the event, parking is closed on the second block of Baltimore Avenue. Entrance to the Block Party (on foot) is accessible through intersections at First St. and Baltimore Ave, or Second St. and Baltimore Ave, and from Rehoboth Avenue through the Rehoboth Mews or Village by the Sea entryways. Public street parking is free off-season. Throughout the day, performances will take place mid-block at the CAMP Rehoboth stage. This year you will be able to attend either in person OR remotely. If you cannot attend in person we will be providing information on how to join remotely. The instructions for how to join remotely will be provided in an email to all members in early November. Please keep an eye out for that email. Please RSVP (for in-person attendees only) so we know how many will be attending and can provide enough food. WHO: Club Members in good standing. WHAT: The Straight Eights Annual General Election Meeting & Social: After the business meeting, we‘ll have a Show & Tell social. Bring along your vintage car brochures, model cars, photo albums of past club events. WHEN: Saturday, November 14th, WHERE: Horizon House Condominiums. Private Event Room, 2nd Floor 1300 Army Navy Drive, Arlington, VA  22202 Take the elevator from the lobby up to level 1, exit right when leaving the elevator, The private event room is on your right down the hallway. RSVP: Before Thursday, November 13th (for those attending in-person for an accurate food count). MENU: Soup, Deli salads, pre-made sandwiches, bite size desserts, assorted cold drinks. PARKING:  Free street parking on Nash Street (behind Horizon House) or along Army Navy Drive. They also offer guest parking spaces (first come, first serve) but they require you stopping at the desk for a form that will sit on your dashboard. Ensure you park in a GUEST marked spot, and not a RESIDENT marked spot.
