Save the Date – Buckeye Lambda Cars & Coffee Meetup! We’ll be gathering on the first Saturday of each month, piggybacking on the established Columbus Cars & Coffee event. Meet us on the west side of the parking lot (bonus: more SHADE along that row!) — we’ll use this as our regular spot to park, mingle, and show our Lambda pride among the broader car community. Mark your calendars now and plan to roll in for coffee, chrome, and camaraderie — first Saturdays, all season long. Buckeye Region Member Scott Harris is our point person for this ongoing event.

Gay new year — that is, Halloween — is fast approaching and have we got a party for you! Join your LCC pals and invited guests at the home of Frank Markus and Mike Smith for the LCC Halloween party.

Join us for our monthly member meeting. We start dinner at 7:00 and begin the meeting when our members are ready.

Please join us at Westpoint BBQ on Thursday November 6th for our monthly Dearborn dinner. We‘ll meet inside at 6:00 pm for a delicious meal. We hope you can join us as this is always a great time.

Car show Vanderbilt Museum

This year you will be able to attend either in person OR remotely. If you can not attend in person we will be providing information on how to join remotely. The instructions for how to join remotely will be provided in an email to all members in early November. Please keep an eye out for that email. Please RSVP (for in-person attendees only) so we know how many will be attending and can provide enough food. WHO: Club Members in good standing. WHAT: The Straight Eights Annual Membership Meeting & Social: After the business meeting, we‘ll have a Show & Tell social. Bring along your vintage car brochures, model cars, photo albums of past club events. WHEN: Saturday, November 15th, WHERE: Horizon House Condominiums. Private Event Room, 2nd Floor 1300 Army Navy Drive, Arlington, VA  22202 Take the elevator from the lobby up to level 1, exit right when leaving the elevator, The private event room is on your right down the hallway. RSVP: Before Thursday, November 13th (for those attending in-person for an accurate food count). MENU: Soup, Deli salads, pre-made sandwiches, bite size desserts, assorted cold drinks. PARKING: Free street parking on Nash Street (behind Horizon House) or along Army Navy Drive. They also offer guest parking spaces (first come, first serve) but they require you stopping at the desk for a form that will sit on your dashboard. Ensure you park in a GUEST marked spot, and not a RESIDENT marked spot. SCHEDULE OF EVENTS: - 12:00 noon.: In person attendees mix and mingle over a light lunch (provided by the club). - 1:30 p.m.: Annual Membership Meeting is called to order. Online attendees will need to log in.

A fall favorite. Join us for a full evening of fun at the Forney Museum. We will gather at 5:30 and start the evening off with a tour of the Forney‘s current exhibit featuring Thunderbirds. Then, it‘s potluck time when we have the opportunity to enjoy good food and great conversation. Capping off the evening will be a screening of the Yellow-Rolls Royce. Attendees are asked to bring a potluck dish to share. If your last name begins with: A-G - Dessert H-N - Side Dish O-Z - Main Dish The club will provide drinks, plates, cups and utensils. Our feature film, The Yellow Rolls-Royce (1964, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer), contains an all star cast including Ingrid Bergman, Shirley McLaine, Omar Sharif, Rex Harrison and George C. Scott. It tells the tale of the car‘s three, very different owners. Please bring your potluck dish and $5.00 per person to help defray the Forney‘s costs.

Board meeting Discussion of 2026 events Nominees for board positions and any other concerns for Empire.

Join us for our monthly Cruise-In to kick some tires, talk cars, and enjoy the wonderful cars and people in our Club. Event starts with a Member Meeting at 3:30pm to discuss upcoming Club activities, followed by a 4:00-5:00pm Grand Invitational Volunteer Meeting, followed by the main event...the Cruise-In at 5:00pm, followed by a group dinner at the host restaurant, Bambinelli‘s. No registration needed, just drive whatever you have and come join the group every 3rd Sunday.

This month we‘re moving our monthly meetup to the third Sunday so that we can take in an art show featuring the work of our own Don Austin. This will also include a bit of food and drink as well. Meet at 1390 South 1100 East, SLC. Come along and admire Don’s work!

Please join us at Crispelli‘s Bakery and Pizzeria on Thursday November 20th for our monthly Berkley dinner. We hope you can join us as this is always a great time.
