Kick off the 2023 Car Show Season with this Saturday car show, held in picturesque Strasburg, VA as part of their annual Vintage in the Valley Festival.

Join us for our April membership meeting at Village Pizza in Corrales, NM. Meet at noon for some tire kicking and socializing. Meeting will start about 12:30 p.m.

Join us for our monthly member meeting. We start dinner at 7:00 and begin the meeting when our members are ready.

Join us on Thursday April 6tH anytime after 5:30 pm at Westpoint BBQ in Dearborn, MI. We will gather in the parking lot, weather permitting, and at 6 pm go inside for a delicious dinner. It‘s a great opportunity to catch up with everyone and see who let beards grow over the winter months. Drive modern or classic. Everybody‘s welcome join us! Please register for a proper headcount. We start the day with Lunch at Torres Mexican Food (note change of restaurant from that shown in the Mobile Director) at 11:30 a.m., then head down the street to Crown Lanes for bowling at 1:00 p.m. For us duffers, shoe and ball rental is available at Crown Lanes. Please RSVP if you are planning to join us for lunch so that we have a head count for the restaurant. Can‘t join for lunch, but want to bowl? Crown Lanes is located at 2325 S. Federal Blvd.

Jeff & John are hosting an icebreaker at their home to get to know our members and introduce themselves to the club. It’ll be a wine and cheese party with hopefully some non-alcoholic drinks too. If you have been itching to drive your classic in a parade, here is your opportunity. Avondale Estates is having an Easter parade and is looking for cars to show off. If you are interested, all you need to do is contact Mark Nichols, and he will get you included in the parade lineup.

A weekend for Classic Chassis Club members to socialize and drive their classic, daily-driver, or a rented convertible on some twisty back roads around the Texas Hill Country. As in the past, we’ll meet for lunch on Friday, then enjoy the drive to Leakey, TX, on some twisty roads. There’s another drive on Saturday, then travel home on Sunday. If you can’t make lunch with us on Friday, you still have two options: arrive Friday night supper or arrive for the Saturday drive. Reminder: this is a rain or shine event, so plan accordingly —but if everyone will wash their car and buy new wiper blades before the trip, we won’t have to worry about rain. CLASSIC AUTO MALL: April 14 & 15. This was an actual former Mall, turned into a car collectors haven. This is a joint-event by The Delaware Valley Region and The Straight Eights Region. A casual event with no agenda that is open to everyone, members, non-members, friends, family. For some, this is a daytrip, for others, make it an overnighter. For those of you who will be traveling a distance to get to this event, Del Valley president Tony Paolini arranged a group block of 30 rooms at the Holiday Inn (which is attached to the Classic Auto Mall). The Group rate is $130.00/night plus tax, Breakfast included, for both Friday and Saturday nights. Book your rooms by calling the hotel at 610-286-3000 and press "0". The group code is, DVL. The cut-off date for this rate is 03/24/23. Also, for those of you so inclined, the Morgantown Hollywood Casino is directly across the street from the Auto Mall. NOTE: On Saturday, the auto-mall hours are half day 9:00 am - 12:00 pm. Which is why Friday is the primary day, open from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm.

We are going to meet at the Newport Car Museum (1947 W Main Rd., Portsmouth, RI) to walk through their tremendous collection then have lunch at the 99 Restaurant in Newport (199 JT Connell Hwy., Report, RI). Museum admission is $20 (or $16 for seniors 65+, students, or military) paid at the door. Everyone pays for their own lunch. Please register to this event so we have a headcount for lunch. After a COVID induced hiatus, the Denver Auto Show is back for 2023 at the Colorado Convention Center in downtown. Join us as we take a stroll through all the latest new car offerings. We‘ll start the day with breakfast at McCoy‘s Restaurant, located just off I-70 at Federal Blvd at 9:00 a.m.. From there, we will travel downtown and reconvene at the Convention Center once the show opens at 10:00 a.m. Use the link below for more information and to pre-purchase tickets for the Auto Show.

Join us for our monthly Cruise-in at 4:00pm at Bambinellis in their spacious parking lot in Tucker. Bring your classic, your favorite car, or even your daily driver. We enjoy seeing and talking about all kinds of vehicles.

All members are invited to attend the Board Meeting at 3:00pm, inside at the long table. This is your club, so please come and be involved in the planning of future events.

We will meet at Deer Grove Forest Preserve at 8:00 AM and caravan together in our specialty cars to the Sanfilippo Estate for a 3-hour tour followed by lunch at a nearby restaurant.

Pride at the Dragon is a driving event that occurs annually, and is totally inclusive of everybody and their vehicles. It is a 4 day event with several scenic drives scheduled. April 26-30, 2023

This is not a Lambda event, but our region will be meeting up with members from a couple other Lambda regions, Nashville and Lexington, KY. RADwood is a celebration of ‘80s and ‘90s automotive lifestyle. The car show that blends period correct dress with automotive awesomeness. Join us for our first Thursday of the month cruise-in and dinner at the Westpoint BBQ in Dearborn on May 5th. Spend your Quattro de Mayo with us! Drive modern or classic. We'll meet anytime after 5:30 pm and go inside for a delicious dinner at 6 pm. This is always a fun time, so please plan to join us!

Set on the Dutchess County Fairgrounds is the first official car show and swap meet of the year.

Our friends at Malaise Motors have invited us to bring our Malaise Motor vehicles to the Greenbrier Concours for their Saturday Cars & Cocktails Malaise Motors Gathering at The Greenbrier.

Although this is not a Lambda Car Club sponsored event, you will see many of our members showing and winning prizes with their cars at this annual event.

Start the day at of one of the Lexington Cars and Coffee events or both if you have time. When the gathering winds down grab lunch at your favorite eatery, gas up, and meet up at the rally point for a driver meeting prior to the start of the cruise. Bring whatever horsepower you have, but on this day, it will be left to the thoroughbreds to do the racing. All years, makes, and models of vehicles are welcome as long as they are street legal. The 60 mile route will take you along the back roads of Central Kentucky through rolling hills, historic stone walls, and four plank fencing. You will get up close views of many famous horse farms in the region and their horses grazing in the paddocks. The 1 1/2 hour drive will conclude with a watch party where you can view the race live. More updates and details will be added as they develop closer to the event date. Be sure to put this event on your calendar for this Spring. You never know, you may get Lucky in Kentucky on Derby Day

RSVP is required: Fluff Up has always been a popular annual club event celebrating the rites of Spring allowing us to get our cars out of hibernation and reconnect with each other after the long winter. We hope to also see members from the Rehoboth Beach areas attend as well. Situated in Kent Island, MD on 7 private acres, flanked by two ponds and one acre of marshland on Crab Alley Bay, is the 6,000 square foot home of members Bill & Taylor, who offered to host our May fluff up event. - Restrooms are located inside the lower-level of their home (the entrance is between the Garage and the Pool) - Please bring your own folding chair for lunchtime - A TBD catered lunch with drink will be provided - Dress appropriately for this outdoor waterfront event - A Rain-Date is 5/21 On your way home, there are a few worthy stops of interest to several local Kent Island Thrift and Antique shops to peruse through in the nearby small village of Chester, MD. Or, name brand shopping at the nearby Queenstown Premium Outlets.
